What necessary item or items do you bring for safety when boating in cold weather. For me it is warm dry clothing in my truck.

A Save Phace Phish Hedz mask is probably the smartest $60 I ever spent in fishing, and I am reminded of that whenever it's 34 degrees out and we're trying to get to the next spot, whether it's half a mile away or on the other end of the lake...

Chris those look real warm if I ever get ahead again I think I will get one. Right now I use a Carhartt hood and a pair of Ski goggles it is a good combination that covers most of my head. The duck material of the Carhartt hood stops the wind. I found that the knitted and imitation fleece ones do very little to block the rush of cold air but work well when stopped.
